Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi (which highlights the cracks in ceramic objects); Project Gold is a series of photographs which celebrate our history, and makes a feature of what is conventionally thought of as 'flawed' or 'imperfect'.

Keen to challenge the apparent norm of women in middle-age attempting to look younger... a group of friends gather, highlight and celebrate wrinkles, bags, creases, spots and blemishes... and have photographic portraits taken. The exhibition premier will include participants' reactions to the process, and an interactive element for those that wish to join Project Gold.
